In December 1986, Paul dreamed to raise his own family. He said that marrying his wife was the best decision he ever made in his life. The love he felt for the woman he loved so great was his strength. Now they have three children, all girls ages 31, 29, and 28. He said that he married his wife with a ten-peso bill in his wallet. It happened in 1986. The Philippines has elected a new president named Corazon C. Aquino.

In 1994, Paul again had dreamed to go abroad. He was lucky though because he did not experience much difficulty in acquiring an overseas job. His uncle-in-law who at that time was the chief accountant of the company Kawasaki Helicopter Saudi Arabia – Finance Department helped him get his current job by recommending him to the administrator of the company.
A Philippine-based recruitment agency, FB Allan processed his papers and he was able to go out of the country as a documented OFW. Aside from working, Paul also devotes some time to his other interests. While employed, he took up a creative writing course by mail with the Writer’s Bureau in Manchester London during the years 1998-1999. In 2000-2001, Paul took up Journalism and short story writing course with the ICS, PA, the USA by mail. (To be continued in part 2)
